Family Picture

Our family picture.

Playing a Duet

Grandma was letting these two little tykes play the piano. When I was taking the picture Emma was patting Titus on the back, guess he was doing a good job on his part :)

A small desk

Emma some how squeezed herself into this little desk. She couldn't move or reach for anything or she would fall over. She's so funny.

Cute Cousins

Emma loves to hug her cousin Titus. Here Emma was pushing Titus in the truck and then she hugged him and then dumped him out. :(

Yay! We did it!!

We got our family pictures done! It was pretty fun, we had them done at Target. The photographer was soo thankful that we were "easy", I think meaning that Emma smiled and stayed put where she was put. So that was good. We won't be getting them till Dec. 21 st, so I'll try to get them out asap. We made out our list today and figured that we didn't buy enough so we have to cut some people off, isn't that how it goes??

Okay dokey just wanted to share the good news :)

Kissy

Our little Emma is getting to be a little kissy :) Its soo cute.
Today we went to the city again for my Dr's appt. After that we were meeting Ryan for lunch. We ate lunch and we were leaving when Emma turns to her dad and makes the kissing sound, meaning she wanted to give her dad a kiss. It was really cute, right in the middle of the restaurant she smooched him on the cheek. What a darling little girl.

Gotta go, Emmy's needing lunch before a nap.
Have a good day.

Okay one more thought....

Pictures!!
I have been trying now for over a month to have my husband help me with taking our family picture. Why is it sooo hard to find something to wear and sit down and take a picture???!!!
Well whatever it is, I struggle with it too. I was hoping to get our family picture done and sent out to everyone this year. Maybe in the next few days it will actually happen. Can I cross my fingers on this one???

Tomorrow is December already!

I think I make some kind of comment about the change of the month, like every month :)

Its cold outside, and there is little snow, but a lot of ice. Kendra I miss the snow, and would love to come snow shoeing! My friends and family think of me as some kind of red-neck when I talk about our northern way of life. But I sure loved it and miss it.

We're heading to the city tonight to take Emma swimming with her cousin at the hotel. That should be fun.

We had our small group over on Tuesday night for brownies and visiting. Emma entertained us some and we just enjoyed each other's company.

We found out that another family in our church plays Settlers, so we are going to try to get together and have an evening together, that should be fun. We played last weekend with Ryan's brother Erik and Margie. It was an okay game. It was fun to see Margie take the lead and win! Did I ever tell you that I lose at most games! :) I guess I"m not very strategic. I can win most times at Cribbage, so I like that game - hehe. ANyone know of some new games that have been fun?? Some new ones that I have tried this year are Apples to Apples, and Imagineiff, both are fun.

Got our tree up, took us a whole 20 minutes, and Emma really doesn't care about it. But I am enjoying the lites on in the evening. Started listening to Christmas music too, I just love this season! Speaking of Christmas, any ideas of what to get Derek??? We tried drawing names last year with my family, it didn't work. We were the only ones who bought for our names, only. Everyone else bought for everyone else, so what I ask myself what was the purpose of drawiing names???? Oh well more gifts for us :) hehe. Oh wait I'm not suppose to think that way.

Okay dokey think I've said enough. Leave some idea. Thanks for your friendship ladies, really really miss all of you.

Only 3 Weeks to Go!

Can you believe my hubby will be done with classes in 3 weeks??? Me neither!! He has one final week, and then we are off to San Diego, CA for Christmas!! whooo- who!! Anyone else been there? I am looking forward to a little time with just my hubby, that will be so nice.

Ryan took a job as a Loan Analyst at Bremer Bank, and it is considered an intern because of the length of the position. So far he is working only one day a week to get through the orientation period and then starts full time in the New Year. As of now we haven't discussed too much about whether or when we are moving so as for now we are staying put (with a possible move in January).

Had a nice visit up at the farm this past weekend. Had a very nice Thanksgiving day, with Ryan's folks, Merrilee and her friend Bow whan (Celina) from China. Friday Celina cooked us a real authentic Chinese meal, it was very tasty !! Saturday Lori, Pete, and Titus came out to the farm, and Jed, Karena and the kids came too, we celebrated Faith's birthday with Lefsa and Steak - mmm!! It was fun to see all the kids playing around, Emma is about the same height as her cousins who are a year old. She's alittle shrimp :) Emma also was sick all week and was a little more herself come Sat. just in time for the birthday party. Went to church SUnday and home Sunday night after a very long game of Super Scrabble played with 3 teams. But we had great company and a fun time! That was what was important, and not that it took 4 hours to play :)

I'm planning to put up our fake Christmas tree today with Emma, that should be fun to do together. Its only a four footer, so shouldn't take that long. I want her to enjoy some Christmas lights and music :)

Thanks for the encouragement ladies, I really appreciate it. I'm wondering if its a bit of hormones, but not sure. I have my ultrasound Monday, so I'm looking forward to that.

Have a great week.

Fighter Verse

I have a bookmark that gives us a figher verse to memorize for each week of the year, I want to share this weeks with you. I'm not very good at memorizing and I go through spurts, one here and there, so I memorized last weeks, and now starting this weeks.(Since I feel like Rhon you are the only one who reads this, guess I'll share it with you :) )

Hebrews 12:1
Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverence the race marked out for us.

Its not too long so I should do ok :)

I've been going though a pretty diffucult time these past couple of weeks, busy, but still fighting not to get depressed, or sad, or whatever you want to call it. It is very hard. I'm not sure why I feel this way and sometimes I'm not sure what to do. I have to say I really long for good friendships but they are no where near - I'm sad.
That's all

Just cuz

Just thought since I have not much else going on I would update my blog. I keep saying that they aren't going to be long and then I ramble on and on, can't imagine why :)

Emma and I have been invited out to lunch at Hvidsten's place along with a few other ladies from our church. I am definately looking forward to this. Its always fun to get together with the older ladies of our church they laugh alot and have alot of good discussions. Kind of reminds me of home.

Ryan's car broke down a couple of weeks ago, since then has been using my car, and I have been immobile the past couple of weeks. Today he took his car again, hoping that he'll make it to school and back again. If not we are taking a quick run to pick him up and take him to school. The good thing is we are getting a new car today and he will be able to drive that one home after school, so that's good. A church in Crookston is showing the Chronicles of Narnia tonight, friends of ours (she is expecting twins - any advice for her Rhon??) invited us to the movie, we will probably go. Tomorrow we are heading back to the city to do some shopping for Ryan, he needs a couple of suits and ties for his new job (that he started yesterday) not sure whether we are moving yet, but we'll keep you updated. We are also going out for supper with a family from our church, their daughter Stephanie has been coming over at least once a week for lunch she has become a good friend. I appreciate that she continues to come over. Anyway its her birthday tomorrow so we get to tag along and help celebrate, can't imagine we'll have a good time - hehe.

I have an ultrasound set for next month and am looking forward to that appointment, one of my favorite parts of being pregnant. Baby has been moving some and that is exciting :) I just love that feeling.

We're counting weeks to San Diego, I am soooo looking forward to spending some alone time with my hubby.

One of my sister in laws is moving from the city back home (with her hubby ofcourse) they have been praying for the right place to live. A couple from their church has been trying to sell their house (way out in the country - almost 20 miles from town) have offered to rent int to them until they can come up with a better option. That is good news for them, but a big adjustment for my dear little Margie - she's a sweetheart!

Okey dookey, better go. Thanks for listening and reading even if you don't leave a message.

Decisions

What job is the right job??? That is the question!
We have a few choices right now, and it can be a stressful time. Please pray with us that God's will would be done. Thanks.
Ladies, do you all get a good quiet time with the Lord? I just feel like such a failure in this area. When I do have the time I'm just not motivated or know where to start. I thought I would get back into more of a routine in this area, but I feel I just keep putting off. Any suggestions or encouragement? I could really use some.
Well off to do "other things",
Melissa

Happy Halloween - belated :)

Just a quick picure to show Emma's costume. We spent the afternoon visiting the local businesses saying hello. The evening we spent at the nursing home getting candy and watching other trick-or-trickers with their costumes, it was a fun evening.

ALLO

Not much to post but I thought I would write a little something.

Emma is trying to go to sleep right now, but there is no guarentees. Her schedule is changing from two good naps to one. I think she's tired but she refuses to nap so I keep her up, she later takes a nap and that does it till night time. Its okay, just wish we were more scheduled - hehe, never thought I would hear myself say that.

Ryan continues to be busy. He's trying so hard to keep on things, school, job, paying rent, spending time with his wife and little girl as much as he can. I feel for him right now. He's been away most days and most evenings, due to school events or his job. My days get long and I sure miss him when he hasn't been around a few days. He's got such a kind heart, wanting to please everyone. This job searching isn't fun,I think Ryan could be really good at what ever job he gets, but he's not sure which one he will REALLY like. Its a hard decision, you can pray for us in this area.

We are taking a trip the day after school is done. We are going to San Diego. We have been saving to go on a "celebration/graduation" trip since he's started school and we were hoping to go to Hawaii but that didn't work out, so San Diego here we come!! It still will be fun. Emma will be staying with her grandma for the week, so that will be nice. We will celebrate Christmas with the Dunham's over New Years as in the past, but we'll have our own celebrating Christmas Day (hehe if you know what I mean :) )

On the weekend we were invited out to dinner to meet a family trying to raise support for their calling (for lack of better terminology). It was neat to hear their testimony and hear how God has called them to share the gospel (through music) to highschool and College age kids. They are on staff at Keynote - through Campus Crusade for Christ. Anyone heard of it? It was good to hear their hearts. What a ministry there is in that area, and I'm glad that they feel called, because I know that I would be terribly intimidated. So blessings to them!

Anyhoo, just stopped in to say greetings. Had a great time in Red Lake and it was fun to see some good ol' friends!!

Wow what a trip!

Last week went to Red Lake. We left Sunday night and got there around 11pm it was fun to surprise everyone (they were expecting us Monday) . When we got there we crept into the house and I stuck Emma in the kitchen, she just woke up from a nap so she just stood there, it was cute. Derek was facing the kitchen but he was wasn't focussing on Emma so it took a few second before it clicked that she was standing there and then he jumped up and it made everyone else look. It was fun to see their shock.
The rest of the week went by like a blurrrr!! Monday we enjoyed Thanksgiving with my family, it was sooo good to be home. Tuesday we threw Elise and Scotty a baby shower, that went okay I guess. Its been a while since I threw something for someone else, I felt a bit out of practice. It was good to see Iris, Jenni, Wendy and Kendra, sure wished I could have visited some with each of them. Wednesday afternoon we went to Miller's to Visit Linda and the boys. I always enjoy hanging out there and watching the kids play. We went from there to Nisly's to visit Rhonda and the girls. It was fun to see them and meet them a little better. It was snowing so the girls played outside, Rhonda and I were able to get some visiting in, that was nice. Matthew made it home about 20 minutes before we left at least we got to say hello. Thursday was our last visiting day and we were able to go to see Becky and her chiln's. Before we went visitng we stopped in at Jeff and Wendy's new place, I got a quick tour, it was really nice to see their progress. Elise and little scotty came with and that was nice to be together, share some stories, and laugh alittle. Most of the evenings we stayed home and Emma had a nice visit with her gookum (grandma) and grandpa Mike. Emma also like to visit with Great-grandpa, she would go into his room, close the door and then you could hear her talking very loudly to him, it was cute, but we had to rescue him some times. She would hold her arms out to him for him to pick her up and she would just sit soo nicely in his lap, what a sweetheart!! I brought my mother-in-law Becky along she was a big help not only to me and Emma but everyone we visited. I was very glad she came along. We got a couple good scrabble games in that is always fun. The weather was a big shocker and I'm glad that I came prepared for whatever weather. It was colllldddd!!! Snowing and felt like and looked like winter. Yuck.
We left Friday morning, and made it to Kenora, we went to HO-HO's for lunch (very good Chinese Food) and tried to keep going. When we got out west of Kenora we realized that the highway going west was closed due to a 3 semi pile up. So we had to decide what to do, we ended up staying at a hotel for the night. That night we even got a visit in with Debbie Ropp, that was really nice. The next morning was beautiful, and we had a nice travel home. Ryan is finished with driving beet truck, so it was nice to have him home when we got here. It was a really special week, my little nephew is sooo cute, how special it was to hold him and see him.
On two different days there we realized that Emma had gotten two more teeth, we are up to 9 now.
This week looks like a alot of laundry and unpacking, sound like fun?? Anyone want to come and visit? I'd love for you to drop in for some coffee :) Maybe some day :)

Busy!

This week is gone! Thank goodness! Ryan started Beet season last week, so he works through the night until 4am, and then wakes up to go to school at 9am. That isn't alot of sleep for my poor husband. So...yesterday I took it up myself to help him out - hehe, I shut off his alarm, well actually I didn't shut it off I just turned down the volume...alot. I'm glad he slept then till noon, and that was exactly what he needed. I'll be glad when beet season is over, he has another week to go. At least the beet pilers get closed down due to warm weather so he has been able to catch up on a few zzz's the last few days. Oh ya by the way "beet" season means sugar beets. It is a very big crop that needs to come off in two to three weeks (at the most) and hulled to a beet pile. Then the beets are hulled to the sugar company in either Crookston or Grand Forks. Its a big process around here, the roads get messy (full of mud), beets are on the road (in town anyway), and trucks are moving around the clock. Its kind of an exciting time of year. Also the truck drivers make really good money, that's why Ryan is doing it. I have to keep reminding myself of that:)

Emma and I are planning to go to Red Lake next week, so hope I can visit a few people while I"m there. My mother-in-law Becky is coming with me, she's looking forward to the drive up there, and maybe get alittle visiting in with some of the people that she's gotten to know there too. It should be fun. I get to finally meet this little nephew of mine. I can't wait!! He looks so cute on those pictures!

Today I had my second Dr's appointment, I finally got to hear our little one's heartbeat! How exciting, awww so cute already!!

Last week we also made our Christmas travel arrangements. Ryan and I are spending Christmas together in San Diego CA. We've been saving up for a graduation trip, and we're excited to go. Emma will stay with Grandma Becky (and get potty trained - hehe, just joking, its been our joke) Anyone else been there?? Any tips of where to visit, we're up for anything :) We are staying close to the beach so that will be fun. I can't wait :)

Well thanks for stopping in. HI to my friend Glenda, Iris, Rhonda, Jenni, Rachel, and whoever else reads this. I read all of your websites pretty regularily (almost everyday :) ) so if your wondering if someones reading it, I do, I'm just not very good at signing everyone's page, sorry, must work on that. Iris I thought I had read your site once I remember the pictures. Sure I would like to read what all your tribe has been up too. THanks everyone for the updates, it makes me feel a little closer to home, I really appreciate it!

so unorganized!!

I have never been really organized. I try and try, but it just seems like I always have a mess. I would like to buy totes and totes, but I don't really have any place to put them, and I'm not sure how long I would use them. Does anyone else suffer the way that I do?? It seems like I get organized, and then when I need something that is organized, its amazing, poof!!, everything else get unorganized too, and then I start all over again. I think some of it though, is we have three closets as our storage and that is it. So just think, baby stuff (which turns out to be a lot!), camping gear (including chairs, tent and cooking stuff), coats, clothing, shoes (and totes with shoes), books, games, sewing machine, material, pillow, blankets, sooooo now you see, you try to fit that all into a one bedroom apartment with little storage!! I think it would be nice to have a book case but unfortunately we haven't boughten one yet.

Okay onto other things.

Yesterday Ryan had a job interview at a bank. What he thought was for an intern only (from Jan. to May) turns out they want to hire him on full-time when he's done graduated (in Dec.) We are at the point of many decisions, sometimes it seems overwhelming. Ryan has had a couple other job offers, but I'm not sure any of them feel right. Ryan I think could talk himself into and out of, doing any of these jobs. They all have good and bad things about them. Soo if you think of us, throw up a prayer or two for us. I'll keep you posted on where we're going next - because we will be moving by Jan. just not sure where yet.

Okay dokey, I better run, if any of you check my other website, I posted a new :)

I'm an Aunite

I wish I could be there! I would love to see this little guy, the pictures that Derek has posted are sooo cute!! Elise called yesterday and it was good to talk to her she said it was bearable, man I wish I could have said that :) I kept getting choked up everytime I heard her little guy squeek, awww, so cute.

We're home now just hanging out. I guess I'm not sure what else to say. Ryan is doing well in school, its nice to have him home in the mornings for a bit, he doesn't start school till 10am. Emma has been sick this week lots of snot, yuck! This is the first time she is sick though in over a year, so I guess I can't complain. I'm not sure if you know but I'm expecting number 2, and I'm feeling better this week, last week I was pretty nauseated around meals mainly but this week is better. I know this pregnancy hasn't hit me yet, its hard these first few months when you don't see or feel anything. I keep thinking am I going to be able to do this? two? Ryan says ready or not we don't have a choice now :) Its okay, I think its just process I need to go through. Ryan really wishes it would be two, (but I'm pretty sure its not) I'm not sure why he would like that.

Today, okay actually its been this week, I've been doing alot of cleaning. This morning we (Emma followed me around) vaccumed, and dusted (I hate dusting) and I'm washing the stoller cover. It was hard to get it off I sure hope its not going to be to hard to put back together. Even if it was I guess it will be worth it, nice and clean, mmm!

Well Rhon, not sure what else to tell you, I'm pretty sure you are the only one who reads my stuff. Thanks for dropping in. It will be fun to see you and the family at the wedding. Kim has asked me to do the little girls hair, not sure how that is going to go yet. Hope your flights and travels go alright. HOw many more days till you leave? Are you excited about coming home? Well I should get going, Have a great day .

Quick Hello

This will be quick if I can type okay :)

We're having a good couple weeks holidays! Ryan finished his job over a week ago and we went to Red Lake to spend some time with my mom and dad. It was a really good time! We went blueberry picking one evening, went fishing one day, had a couple barbeques and picnics, enjoyed a few walks, wow what a week! Now we are at Ryan's mom's place, Ryan is helping his brother with harvest, driving truck. I am hanging out with Emma, and maybe going over to Dwayne and Laura's to help paint today. We'll see how that goes.

It was good to stop in at Pakwash on Sat. am, it was fun to visit with some good ol' friends. It was fun to visit with you Jenni for a little bit, how is Josiah doing? HOpe it continues to go well and that you had a good weekend.

We had a Emma weighed yesterday, she is 19.1lbs, and is 27 3/4 inchs, according to the charts she's short - hehe, not a bad thing I gues.
Okay dokey better get going. I promise pictures next week, we have some good ones :)

Real busy right now

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. We've been real busy and I guess sitting at the computer doesn't have too much priority.
Our church hosted a bbq at the Mission (the street people) tonight so we have been gone. I have Stephanie come on Tuesdays for lunch, this morning I made Salads all morning for tonight. Tomorrow I have to clean our little apartment and make Cakes for Thursday. Thursday is Emma's birthday and we have invited the church and some of our friends over for cake and ice cream. I don't know any other ladies here in town so we invited who we knew. This weekend we are heading to Red Lake so I have to try to get ready for that. We are planning to camp at Rushing river for the weekend and then head home on Monday. Ryan will hopefully be a little help over at Jeff's. I want to go blueberry picking- mmm! The following week we will be in Roseau for a few days. We want to help Dwayne and Laura with their new house (painting, flooring, etc.) so it will a few days before postings. I have some great pictures of Emma! She had beets the other night, wow, she was beet purple!! hehehehehe. SOO anyhoo, just to let you know where we'll be at.
Rach, would love to get together with you if youmove north!!

Emma sat right in the middle of table sorting through the crayons.

Emma got to play with Alabama's tricycle for a moment, she pushed it around and loaded it up with dirt :)

Emma was quite tired, she normally doesn't leave her sunglasses on, but this time she did. It was too cute :)

I'm bored today

I've been NOT busy for one day and now I'm bored. I don't feel like doing laundry or cleaning, but I guess its okay to have a day like that from day to day.
Our apartment stinks of cigarette smoke, the guy next door smokes like a chimney plus he has really bad body odor!! Even if he goes out into the hall it wreakks up the whole hallway, elevator etc. I'm not sure what to do. I've complained already to the landlords, but they are not in town so its a bother to deal with it. They say they can't do anything about it. I don't believe that. They say that it used to be okay to smoke in the building and now a year later its a non-smoking building that those tenants still can smoke. Does that sound right??? I don't think so, I say phhoowee!! We live right next door to this guy and it really smells our place pretty bad too. Any ideas ladies??
by the way thanks for the advice Iris on changing the comment setting, hope it works better now.
As for the weight loss thing, I'm still pretty motivated which is really good. I was down before and would like to see the same results again (but who wouldn't like to see results ? :) )
Went to Graceton this past weekend, saw Jeff, Wendy and chilens, Derek and Elise, Jake and Amelia. It was nice to hang out together, the kids had fun just playing around the treee while us adults visited, I have to say thought it was HOT!! yikes. I had fun sleeping in our new tent, its big but very nice. Emma and I slept together the first night, she slept next to me like glue, but I suppose it didn't have anything to do with my weight vs. hers - hehe. The second night Ryan came, and I made Emma a little bed, she slept in it all night - wow! I said we should set a tent up in our little yard here - right in the middle of town, main street! okay maybe not. Jeff and Wendy were able to get all their windows for their house for an awesome deal!! A 90% savings on what they were quoted in Red Lake, cool huh??
I have to tell you also that God was merciful to me on the way down. I was in a little accident. I was travelling behind this lady and I set my cruise, turned my head for a moment to check on Emma, and when I turned back she had stopped and was going to turn. AHHH!! I slammed on the brakes and swerved around her, unforturnately my back end (of the car) came around and took us across the highway into the ditch. We were okay and Emma woke up, looked at mee like what's going on. A few people stopped to help us out. A very nice man (a grandpa) with 4X4 stopped pulled us out, and we were on the road again. All in about 20 mins. God was good, I was so thankful that God protected us. Kind of reminds me of your accident Rhon. I was alittle shaken but not too bad.
Any way. Thanks all for the comments I will try some pictures soon.

Crazy Days!

We're having Crazy Days here in Warren today. Emma and I went to man the tables at the Coffeeshop to help out. It was kind of fun to see alot of ladies, and to enjoy a little bit of the morning sun. It was a little too hot by the time 11am came along, but that was okay because we were done working by then. She paid me 20bucks for my time so I think that was worth it. :)
Went to the farm again last weekend, they had their fair so we made it there by 8pm, I had to wait for Ryan who had to drive to Minot for the day. Needless to say he was exhausted by the time he got home, but we still went. My new Sis-in-law, Jessica and bro-in-law were in Roseau for his 10 year reunion and we threw them a pie reception at the same time, so that was nice. It was fun to be with family, their family has pretty much doubled in the past 4 years. Only 1 sister left to be married out of 7, she's not seeing anyone right now but their is a possibilty so we are praying with her about it.
I started weight watchers a few weeks ago, and I hate it but I'm trying really hard so I can look a little better when we take our trip this coming Christmas. Anyone have any good ideas of where to go? We looked into Hawaii but I don't think we can afford that one. We've also looked into SanDiego, anyone been there?? If you have any suggestions we are looking for anywhere with a beach - and Rhonda I don't think we can make it to Madegascar :) (would love to come a say hello though) Anyway about weight watchers I have really enjoyed meeting other community women and like I said I have only started a few weeks ago, and I lost 4 pounds when I weighed in on Monday. I think that is a pretty good start, i'm not going to complain I wish it was more loss, but that's pretty good with 2 fairs, a trip to Fargo, and a pie social. i hope I can lose more in a couple weeks. If you're wondering its kind of like 3D minus the devotions and praying, but Laura Mast and I have committed to praying for each other, I think that is why I'm doing so well.
WEll I have to cut this off Emma just woke up from her nap, she's probably hungry. Love to hear from anyone. HI Robbie, and RHonda, Jenni, and Rachel, maybe Iris too, don't know . TTYL, Mel

go go go

right now we are going going going.
I don't mind, I think its better then sitting here in our little apartment, or evening walking around a town where I know very few people. They don't offer much here in warren so I don't feel too involved with anything, or connected to anyone, I think I'm getting lonely. Emma is such a darling, but I miss fun interaction.
We had a good week last week went to Fargo got to stay at the Ramada hotel, did some serious shopping (Okay only at old Navy) We got some good deals on kids clothes and Emma is set for next summer (50% off clearance, plus 20% off - most everything for a Dollar :) good deal :) )
Went to Roseau for the weekend and were able to spend some good time with the family. What a great time. Went to the fair one night and we were there till midnight, whewww! Emma stayed up that whole time too, what a goofy girl. We are heading up to Graceton to visit with Elise and Derek, Jeff, Wendy and kids next weekend, that should be a fun time.
Okay dokey love to hear from everyone :)

This is still new :)

This is still pretty new to me, but I'll keep at it.
Went to church this morning had prayer time before the service, it was good to be part of that. I was ready before Alma this morning, which never happens. After church we had a garden meal, in the basement in support of our team going to the Ukraine this week. They are planning to do day camps with the kids over the weekend and a Marriage seminar somewhere in there too, they will be there for 6 days.
This afternoon we are just hanging out together as a family. Ryan worked this morning at the dairy farm and slept some this afternoon. Emma on the other hand, slept only an hour and is still very tired but won't go to sleep. I'm not sure what to do about that, so Ryan is sitting with her and looking at the photo albums, she seems interested in that. She is becoming a momma's baby and won't sit with him very long.
We will be gone most of this week, so I'll try to write when I can. We are going to Fargo for couple of days and then up to the farm for the weekend. Ryan has work in Fargo and I get to tag along and shop (well window show anyway).
I've been doing well okay on the weight watchers bit, but I don't enjoy it, I wish I could eat whatever I want when ever I want. ( I have a feeling I'm not the only one who wishes that)
Okay Dokey I should be going. Thanks for stopping in.

Another day another dollar

okay what the title has to do with anything I don't know hehe, just thought it sounded like a good title.
Its been over a week I think since I wrote something and I guess I haven't spent the time to figure out how it all works so I'm finally back again to fill it in.
This week was soo hot here, out side that is, its beautiful here in the apartment (yay central air!)
Went to Grand Forks this week to go shopping, took my neighbor lady (Alma - she's 75, widowed, and loves Emma) with me. She goes to our church and we just love her, she's a sweetheart! Anyway didn't find much but I got groceries and Alma was able to get some things that she needed, it was nice to have some company. Ryan had to do an over night trip this week so I was left home with Emmy. I don't like being left alone, but I guess you girls know what that's like. That night Emma slept terrible, she was up at least 3 times, but at least the night before she actually slept threw the night. This week I actually joined weight watchers its no fun having to watch your points but I'm determined this...well week anyway. I hope I can lose some weight before we go on our trip I'm hoping that will be some of my motivation. I could sure use some prayer in this area! thanks.
This weekend Ryan had to do chores on the dairy farm, so tonight Emma and I went to help, I carried her on my back and she was great! She loves the cows.
Any hoo, I should be going I need to put my little girl to bed. Love to see what you all are doing. Thanks for all the welcome comments I will try harder this week.

I'm a new blogger!

Okay just to leave a comment on someone else's blog I need to sign up, what's with that. Now I have two pages to fill out. I was terrrible with one, I make no promises with this one. Beautiful hot sunny day here, around the 83 degree area, and I'm sitting in my wonderfully air conditioned apartment - mmmm!
Okay dokey love to hear from you.
