Home again

One of family picnics we had this fall. There has been a couple of days where the weather has been so nice, we just had to have a picnic. So here is our little family.

Dakota and I going for a walk with Ryan and Emma.

Emma posing and saying cheese.

Well we finally made it home. We were in Red Lake for 17 days. It was really great to spend so much time with my sister and little Scotty. We had a great time and I am soo thankful for a wonderful sister. I sure wish we lived closer so that I could see her more often. We walked almost every morning, and then spent some time just hanging out. She was a big help with the girls too. It was fun to be with my parents also, fun to see them interacting with our girls and loving them as grandparents do. I struggle with being back again. I admit I get lonely. Do you ever long for your old friends back again, the ones who know you for you?? I do. Anyhoo. I have a few pictures to share, I have more, but need a little more time to get them ready.

Hey I haven't checked your blog in awhile and I did just in time to read a fresh post! Your kids are so cute (you are too) ha ha. Yes, I know what you mean about longing to be with people who have known you your whole life. There's just something different about it, even though the friends I have now are dear too. And of course there's nothing like hanging out with sisters.

I really really really really really enjoyed your visit! Tell Ryan thanks so much for letting you come for so long! Maybe we can make this an annual thing?! I'll try to come sometime in Nov.

I was glad to see you too! I definitely remember fondly our walks, snowshoe hikes, picnics, and all the other good times we had together and miss having you around. There's nothing quite like "old" friends. And I think it's kinda cool that I've lived here long enough to be an old friend now. =)

Uh, why does blogger always default to calling me "Living Hope"? I always have to remember to change it to Kendra. Weird.
